Rafael Lins dos Anjos

Rafael dos Anjos has nearly twenty years of experience in global financial markets, combining deep quantitative rigor with extensive hands-on work on proprietary trading desks. His expertise centers on treasury structuring, risk management and OTC derivatives pricing across commodities, FX and interest rates.

He built his career at institutions of excellence. He started at Banco Santander, where he developed the foundations of his analytical approach working in financial risk. At Macquarie Group in London, he traded as a market maker managing derivatives and physical asset positions. He then led Banco Pine's commodities desk, owning the proprietary risk mandate (PnL) and the active management of complex portfolios and exotic options.

His strategic leadership took him to ED&F Man Capital Markets, where he became Global Head of OTC Trading, overseeing results, risk control and innovation across the firm's entire OTC division worldwide.

His market judgment rests on an analytically demanding academic background: Mechatronics Engineering at Escola Politécnica, University of São Paulo (USP), a Master's in Finance from London Business School (LBS) and a Master's in Economics from Insper. Blending engineering, econometrics and data intelligence, he holds advanced Machine Learning certifications as well as ANBIMA's CGE and CGA professional designations, the highest credentials for third-party asset management.

In 2018 he founded UHEDGE to democratize access to institutional-grade hedging tools, free of conflicts of interest. Today, leading UHEDGE Asset Management, Rafael applies the same market intelligence and risk discipline that guided his global career to manage assets and protect client wealth with full independence and alignment of interests.
